Cross posted hither and yon, looking for advice

GRRR. My always-unschooled 7.5 year old went to summer camp and got to hear 8 weeks of kids talking about school. Now she wants to go to school and is complaining that she doesn't learn enough. She seems to think she wants to do Book Work, the formal structured kind, and while I'm willing to work with her that way if it's really what she wants, I'm hesitant to spend a lot of money on things that will lose novelty value after a week or so. I know she's totally obcessed with all things Little House, so starting with the Prairie Primer (minus the religious bits, since we're not Christian) might be a fun place to start, if we can find a reasonably priced used copy. But I don't know. I haven't lost faith with unschooling, but it seems like SHE has. I don't know how to make her feel better about it all without turning into a domineering schedule pushing homeschooling mom.
